Commerce nabs another close win, 10-7 over Athens Christian

ATHENS -- Commerce scored 10 points in the second quarter and made it stick in a 10-7 victory over Athens Christian on Friday.<br />

It was the third one-score victory for the Tigers (4-1, 3-0 Region 8-A) this season.<br />
<br />
Commerce rolled up 290 yards rushing in the win, while holding Athens Christian to 188 yards.<br />
<br />
Andres Salgado's field goal proved the difference in the game after helping the Tigers to a 10-0 halftime lead.<br />
<br />
Commerce will travel to Prince Avenue Christian next week.
