Ken Davis was a member of the 1964 Georgia football team, Vince Dooley's first. The team will be honored at halftime of Saturday's game with Tennessee.
Ken Davis was a member of the 1964 University of Georgia football team that also happened to be the first team of legendary coach Vince Dooley.<br />

Davis, who lives in Gainesville and is the father of WDUN's Katie B. Davis, went on to coach at East Hall and Lumpkin County.<br />

On Wednesday's "Game On," Katie B. Davis interviewed her father about his experiences as part of that team, just days before the team is scheduled to be honored at halftime of the Georgia-Tennessee game Saturday in Athens.<br />
