BLAIRSVILLE -- Joseph Mancuso tossed five touchdown passes and Union County rolled to a 35-8 win over rival Fannin County Friday night.<br />

It was billed as a game that could plenty of fireworks as both offenses came in averaging over 44 points in their last two games.<br />
<br />
However, while Mancuso was lighting up the Rebels defense, the Panthers defense shut down Fannin's new spread attack.<br />
<br />
Union County (4-0) came out firing jumping out to to a 28-0 lead by the end of the first quarter. The Panthers led 35-0 heading into the fourth quarter.<br />
<br />
Robert Prunier had a big game catching six passes for 90 yards and one touchdown. Sam Gilbert had three catches for 47 yards and a touchdown and Jacob Rogers also had 47 yards receiving and hauled in three TD catches.<br />
<br />
Mancuso finished 17-of-30 for 248 yards passing and added another 62 yards rushing for Union County.<br />
<br />
Fannin County got its only points in the fourth quarter.<br />
<br />
The Panthers next will play host to Social Circle in another 8-AA contest. Fannin County (2-2) is off next week before opening Region 7-AAA at home against Banks County.
