CUMMING - Forsyth County has hired Jim Pryor to serve as the county's parks and recreation director.<br />

The appointment is effective Oct. 13.<br />

Pryor has more than 17 years of experience in the parks and recreation field. Most recently, he served as the Director of Parks and Recreation for Brunswick County in North Carolina.
