SUGAR HILL -- Senior Bria Bush pitched her seventh complete game of the season and third shutout of the year to lead Class AAAA No. 1 Buford to a 7-0 win over Woodstock Wednesday in the Elite Sports Classic tournament at Lanier High School.<br />

Bush (9-0) scattered seven hits and fanned four. The offense scored single runs in the third and fifth, three in the fourth, and two more in the seventh to put the game away.<br />

Sophomore Samantha Thomas had three hits, including a solo home run and double, to go with two RBI to lead the Buford offense. Tessa Daniels and Breanna Gutierrez each had two hits and two RBI and Baylee Sexton had two hits for the Lady Wolves.<br />

Buford (19-1) will jump back into Region 8-AAAA action Thursday traveling to take on Monroe Area.
