CLEVELAND -- White County outscored Pace Academy 22-7 in the second half to rally for a 31-17 win Friday night at White County Stadium.<br />

The Warriors (2-1) rushed for over 350 yards for the third consecutive game.<br />

Max Taylor piled up 175 yards on just nine carries, including a 94-yard run, to lead White County's attack. Maurice Sutton added 120 yards and one touchdown. A,J. Vandiver had 73 yards and one score for the Warriors.<br />

Pace Academy jumped out to a 7-0 lead but White County answered with a 92-yard touchdown run by Sutton to cut the lead to 7-6 after a missed extra point. Bradley Hurst later booted a 39-yard field goal to give the Warriors a 9-7 lead.<br />

Pace Academy answered with its own 39-yard field goal to take a 10-9 halftime lead.<br />

It was all White County in the second half. Taylor, Vandiver, and Sam Turner all had scoring runs in the second half. Turner's 1-yard TD run was set up by Taylor's 94-yard run to the Pace Academy 1.<br />
<br />
The Warriors led 24-10 when Pace Academy cut the lead to 24-17 but the Warriors scored late to put the game out of reach.<br />
<br />
Sutton had two interceptions and Adam Johnson had one for the defense.<br />

White County travels to Buford next week.
