GAINESVILLE - Rape Response is in need of more volunteers.<br />

The organization is accepting applications from people interested in working with survivors of sexual assault. <br />
<br />
Applicants will be trained to respond to crisis calls and accompany assault survivors to the hospital. Therefore, volunteers must be within 30 minutes of Northeast Georgia Medical Center. A background check, interview and ten hours of training are required. <br />
Volunteer training will be offered Sat, Oct. 4, 8:00-5:00 and Thursday, Oct. 9, 5:30-8:00. <br />
