GAINESVILLE - The team of Katie Dubnik and Dave Long captured the top spot Saturday night as winners of "Dancing with a Cause," a Gainesvillle fund-raiser for five local social service agencies.<br />

"...all the contestants were winners for having the courage and dedication to do what they did," Dubnik said Sunday morning. "It was about raising awareness and funds for five amazing human service organizations in our town that don't normally get this much lime light."<br />

Dubnik went on to describe her participation as "a blast," adding, "it pushed me way out of my comfort zone to do something I never would have otherwise, but it was well worth it. I was honored to be a part and look forward to next year!"<br />

The event raised money for Alliance for Literacy, American Red Cross, Center Point, Rape Response, and Teen Pregnancy Prevention, Inc. <br />
<br />
The eleven teams of contestants performed a variety of dance styles in front of a panel of judges as well as audience members.
