TIGER -- Mt. Pisgah used a 17-point second quarter to break a scoreless tie en route to a 27-9 win over Rabun County Friday night.<br />

The Patriots (1-1) used a balanced attack to grab a 17-0 lead after both teams played to a scoreless first quarter. They had 184 yards rushing and 152 yards passing and no turnovers.<br />

Rabun County (1-2) never recovered from the Patriots explosion in the second quarter. The Wildcats did not help themselves with three turnovers.<br />
<br />
The Wildcats' Charlie Woerner was held to just 69 total yards and one touchdown for the game.<br />
<br />
Rabun County will play host to Jackson County next week.
