Most of the teams remained the same, though there was some movement for the area squads represented in the rankings in this week's Georgia Sports Writers Association Prep Football Poll, released Tuesday.<br />

Buford, Gainesville, Jefferson and North Gwinnett each remained in their respective top 10s, though Mill Creek dropped out of the Class AAAAAA rankings.<br />

The Hawks fell to No. 1 Colquitt County in their season-opener on Saturday -- though Mill Creek is still receiving votes. The Hawks will travel to face West Forsyth on Friday.<br />

North Gwinnett, meanwhile, jumped from No. 4 to No. 2 after edging former No. 1 McEachern on Saturday, 52-49. The Bulldogs will take on North Cobb on Friday in Suwanee.<br />

In Class AAAAA, Gainesville dropped one spot to sixth while idle. The Red Elephants were leap-frogged by Kell -- which defeated Carrollton in its opener. Gainesville will open its 2014 season at No. 10 Grayson on Friday in a game broadcast live on 1240 AM.<br />

In Class AAAA, Buford maintained its spot atop the rankings after a physical, 17-0 win over defending Class AAA Florida champion Trinity Christian Academy on Saturday. The Wolves will play host to Berkmar on Friday.<br />
<br />
And, in Class AAA, Jefferson edged up from fifth to sixth after a convincing defeat of Rabun County in its season opener last Friday. The Dragons will travel to Winder-Barrow this week.<br />
