ATLANTA - Gainesville City Councilwoman Ruth Bruner has been named to the Georgia Municipal Association's Legislative Policy Council. <br />

The council is made up of 37 city officials from around Georgia, both elected and appointed.<br />
<br />
Other northeast Georgians named to the board are from Auburn, Suwanee, and Commerce.<br />
