White County Public Safety Director David Murphy said the home fire was in the 1900 block of Lothridge Road.

"Upon arrival, first units reported heavy fire on one end of the doublewide mobile home," Murphy said. "The fire was quickly knocked down, however the residence will be considered a total loss due to smoke and water damage."
According to Murphy, residents were home at the time of the fire and quickly escaped without injury.
Firefighters did have to rescue the family's pet cat from the residence.
