FLOWERY BRANCH -- The Atlanta Falcons have placed receiver Drew Davis on the physically unable to perform list for training camp after recent foot surgery.<br />

Coach Mike Smith said that Davis, a three-year veteran, "felt some discomfort in his foot at the end of minicamp" last month and has undergone surgery.<br />
<br />
Davis caught 16 passes for 216 yards and three touchdowns last season. He is not expected to return to the field for six weeks.
