COMMERCE - The Tanger Outlets in Commerce announced Friday that it has signed a new 5-year lease with the VF Outlet, Inc., which includes relocating from their current space which they have occupied since first coming to Commerce in October of 1995. <br />

The new location, consisting of 19,970 square feet of retail space, will be in the southwest corner of the center near the existing Reebok and Timberland stores.<br />

According to Tanger management, the construction on the new suite VF will occupy is expected to be completed by the first of June, at which point VF will take over and begin the fixturing and merchandising process. The new store is expected to open by the third week of June with little or no downtime between the time the store opens and the original store closes.<br />

VF Outlet is a discount clothing store chain.<br />
