Body pulled from Chattahoochee River near Six Flags

By The Associated Press
AUSTELL - Fire officials in suburban Atlanta say a body has been pulled from a stretch of the Chattahoochee River near Six Flags Over Georgia.

Denell Boyd of the Cobb County Fire Department tells WSB-TV a boater spotted the body near the riverbank behind the amusement park in Austell Monday afternoon.

The person's identity and details on their cause of death weren't immediately available.

This is the second body found in the Chattahoochee River in three days. A woman's body was pulled from the river near John's Creek Saturday. It is not known if the two incidents are related.
