GAINESVILLE - A person received second and third degree burns in a Gainesville house fire Monday morning.
Gainesville Fire Division Chief Keith Smith said the house on Lee Street was destroyed. He said there were as many as 10 people in the two-story house at the time the fire broke out around 7 a.m.
The Fire Marshal's Office is investigating to determine a cause for the fire.
