FLOWERY BRANCH -- The Flowery Branch girls tennis advanced to the second round of the Class AAAAA playoffs with an impressive 5-0 sweep of Arabia Mountain Thursday.
The Lady Falcons dropped just five total games in earning the victory.
Nicole Morris won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, while Durden Smith and Madison Smith each took 6-0, 6-0 wins at Nos. 2 and 3 singles.
Both doubles teams, Breanna Benton and Brooke Kane at No. 1 and Kaia Clark and Ashley Coleman at No. 2 took 6-1, 6-1 victories to help close out the match.
Flowery Branch next will take on Region 5-AAAAA champion Allatoona next week on the road.
