BLUE RIDGE -- West Hall clinched third place in Region 7-AAA after routing Fannin County 11-1 in five innings Wednesday.
Will Simmons (6-2) earned the win scattering three hits and fanning three in a complete-game effort.
Zach Collins paced West Hall with two hits and one RBI. Zach English added one hit and two RBI and Cameron Johnson had a hit and two RBI for the Spartans (17-8, 13-7 Region AAA).
West Hall will close the regular season Friday playing host to White County on Senior Night.
