Porter tops Southeast Super Trucks for Anderson win

WILLIAMSTON, SC - So far, Easley, SC's Randy Porter has had a lock on Southeast Super Truck Series victory lane.

He continued his dominance on Friday night, as he drove away to score the victory in the series feature at Anderson Motor Speedway in Easley, SC.

The win was the third in the first three events for the series in 2014, with Porter and his Brad Jeter Racing team scoring victories in the season opener at Greenville Pickens Speedway and the second race of the season at Hickory Motor Speedway.

Jeff Myers came home in second, with Cole Glasson in third, Kevin Leicht in fourth and Joey Shuryan in fifth.

In other action, B.J. Thrasher scored the win in the Mini-Stock feature. Chad Campbell came home in second, with Ben Kay in third, Brian Porter in fourth and Luck Sorrow in fifth.

Andrew Cordell topped the Renegades field to pick up the feature victory. Steve Guthrie finished in second, with Troy Carnes in third, Doug Miller in fourth and Chris Whitfield in fifth.

Phil Perry came home with the victory in the Carolina Vintage Cars feature. Chad Franklin, Don Moore, Doug Howell and Joe Evans rounded out the top five.

In US Legends action, Riley Halverson beat out R.S. Senter for the win. Trey Eidson came home in third, with Karl Moberg in fourth and Zach Leonardi in fifth.

Tommy Davis picked up the Front Wheel Drive feature victory. Michael Cross finished in second, with Chris Harvell in third, Brian King in fourth and Donnie Pardue in fifth.

Anderson Motor Speedway returns to action on Friday, April 18, featuring action from the Late Model Stock, Mini Stock, Renegades, Super Renegades, BM Modifieds and Front Wheel Drives.
