FLOWERY BRANCH -- One day removed from a lackluster loss to Heritage, the Flowery Branch baseball team rebounded with a 9-4 win over Apalachee Wednesday in Region 8-AAAAA.
The Falcons (10-7, 6-3 Region 8-AAAAA) were led by Dylan Gibeau, who smacked a home run to go with two RBI. Justin Seabolt had two hits and two RBI and Aaron Miles had a hit and two RBI for Flowery Branch.
Trevor Roof went five innings striking out four to get the win for the Falcons.
Flowery Branch will travel to Winder to take on Apalachee on Friday.
