GAINESVILLE -- Taylor Fiarello and Clay King staved off one match points and then rallied for a win at No. 1 doubles to give the Flowery Branch boys a thrilling 3-2 win over North Hall in tennis action Tuesday.
Fiarello and King won the first set 6-2 but kost the second set 6-2 and were forced to a third set tiebreaker. The Trojans' Matt Booth and Paxton Gillespie had a match point but could not convert and Fiarello and King won the match thrtee points later on their first match point, taking the tiebreaker 8-6.
The Falcons also got wins from Beau Millwood at No. 1 singles and at No. 2 doubles from Austin Higgins and Quang Cuo.
North Hall got wins from Jackson Davis at No. 2 singles and from Dalton Patterson at no. 3 singles.
