GAINESVILLE -- The Gainesville boys tennis team lost just one set in taking a 5-0 victory over Clarke central Tuesday in Region 8-AAAAA play at Longwood Park.
In singles, Graham McKinnon won 6-0, 6-2 at No. 1, Reagan Williams won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2, and Thomas Carter pulled out a thrilling 6-3, 3-6, 11-9 win at No. 3.
In doubles play, Charles Calkins and Nick Dillard won 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 and Trevor Munn and Davis Brown won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2.
The Elephants will wrap up the regular season schedule Thursday traveling to Flowery Branch.
