One-lane traffic at Clarks Bridge construction site

GAINESVILLE - Traffic was to be down to one lane most of today at the Clarks Bridge construction site in North Hall as crews begin pouring a fourth caisson for the new bridge.

The northbound lane of Clarks Bridge Road/SR 284 was being closed so trucks can position themselves on the bridge while the concrete is pumped from the trucks into the caisson. The lane closure is expected to be finished by 4 p.m. Traffic will be directed across the bridge by a flagger during the lane closure.
