ATHENS -- Georgia junior wide receiver Malcolm Mitchell, recovering from a right knee injury that ended his 2013 season, will miss the remainder of spring practice after hurting his left leg.
Georgia announced Saturday that Mitchell was injured during practice on Tuesday.
Mitchell, regarded as Georgia's top receiver, tore the ACL in his right knee during a season-opening loss to Clemson. He had been exposed to only limited work in spring practice.
Georgia director of sports medicine Ron Courson says Mitchell is still expected to have a full recovery by August, when the Bulldogs begin preseason drills.
Mitchell had 40 catches for 572 yards and four touchdowns in 2012.
