BRASELTON -- The Gainesville girls golf team finished third at the West Hall Invitational on Saturday at the Chateau Elan golf course.
The Lady Red Elephants shot a 247 in the 25-team field. Cambridge won it with a 218 and North Oconee was second with a 235.
Rachel Dai won low medalist honors for the second straight week firing a 1 under par 70.
Ashleigh Bishop shot an 80 to lead Gainesville. Meg Callahan fired an 83 and Madeline Harr and Morgan Reece each shot 84 for the Lady Red Elephants.
Gainesville will travel to Waynesboro next Saturday for the Lady Bear Invitational hosted by Burke County High School.
