Fire destroys medical office building in north Fulton Co.

ALPHARETTA, Ga. (AP) Authorities are investigating the cause of a large fire that destroyed a medical office building in the Atlanta suburb of Alpharetta.

WSB-TV reports that the building on Crabapple Road houses Roswell Pediatric Center, a dentist office and CTS Systems.

Firefighters say a witness driving by called in the fire before the fire alarm went off around 3:30 a.m. Friday.

When firefighters arrived, they were forced to take a defensive position to battle the massive flames.

Few other details were immediately available early Friday.
