ELLENWOOD -- Dawson County could not find its offense against a talented Cedar Grove team Tuesday night in the second round of the Class AAA boys state playoffs.
The Tigers were held to eight points or less in three quarters and fell 62-33 to Saints.
The loss ends the Tigers at 22-8. They were the Region 7-AAA runners-up.
Jackson Putnam paced Dawson County with eight points. Sam Muenchen added seven for the Tigers.
Jacara Cross led all-scorers with 22 points for Cedar Grove. Chris Fredrick had 18 for the Saints.
