Gainesville mayor, council begin hearing budget requests Thurs.

GAINESVILLE - It's the time of year when many local governments begin preparing to develop and approve a new budget.

The Gainesville Mayor and City Council begin that process at a work session Thursday.

They are scheduled to hear budget presentations starting at 9:00 from Keep Hall Beautiful and Elachee Nature Science Center.
