Friends of the Hall County Library fund raiser set for late April

GAINESVILLE - Friends of the Hall County Library will soon be holding its annual murder mystery dinner theater, a fund raiser for the group.<br /> <br /> Advance tickets are now available and volunteers are still needed to help with the event.<br /> <br /> "Murder on the Strip" will be performed the weekend of April 25-26. <br /> <br /> The plot centers around the death of Wally "Magic Fingers" Literace, who is found dead in his office in Las Vegas.<br /> <br /> Suspects will be played by Friends of the Library members, library staff, and local celebrities including baseball Hall of Fame pitcher Phil Niekro and Flowery Branch Mayor Mike Miller. <br /> <br /> Two performances will be offered, one on Friday, April 25 and one on Saturday, April 26. Each will take place from 6:00-9:30 at the Spout Springs Library. A Las Vegas inspired dinner will be served. Attendees may BYOB. Tickets are $40 each and must be purchased in advance.
