There is an huge gap between Progressive Liberals and Fiscal Conservatives. Progressive Liberals believe the best way for you to have a better life is to give you free food stamps. Fiscal Conservatives believe the best way for you to have a better life is to have a paycheck. The Democrats believe money belongs to the government, and should be doled out so everybody gets an equal amount. Conservatives believe your money belongs to you, and some should be paid to government for governing. There is no better example of this gap than President Obama's State of the Union address. He talked about creating jobs. So what did he propose? First, extending the government dole to the unemployed. Second, a minimum wage. Third, he talked about how Obamacare will assure healthcare for all, and for those who do not have it, they will get it free. Not one of these things create real jobs. Not one. Democrats believe in a dole, like food stamps, not jobs. President Obama used the word jobs, but never mentioned A job or A paycheck. Why are Democrats and Republicans so far apart? Because the Democrats believe money belongs to the government, and should control how much you and I receive. Conservatives believe your money belongs to you, and only your vote should say how much government gets. One wants food stamps for all; the other a paycheck. This is Gordon Sawyer and I am a fiscal conservative who believes real jobs for all is the way to go.<br />
