CLARKESVILLE - The Habersham County Chamber of Commerce 2014 Annual Meeting/Awards Ceremony will be Thursday, January 8, at the Clarkesville Event Center (Old Clarkesville Mill). <br />

Registration, hors d'oeuvres and networking start at 6:00 and a black-tie optional dinner at begins at 6:30.<br />
<br />
"The annual meeting will be different this year - no speaker and more celebration of community and member accomplishments," said Dr. Judy Taylor, Chamber president. "Habersham has had a banner year, and we want to be thankful and recognize this." <br />
<br />
Awards will be presented to the 2014 Chamber Hall of Fame inductee, the Small Business of the Year, the Katheryne Lunsford Volunteer of the Year, the Entrepreneur of the Year, the Industry of the Year, the Ottis Stonecypher Habersham Countian of the Year, the Executive Woman of the Year, and several board members for their service. <br />

A live auction will be held on four items: a guitar autographed by Little Big Town band members, a cabin on Lake Burton for the weekend, dinner for 8 provided in your home by Abby J, and a golf package including a Titleist driver from The Orchard Golf & Country Club. After the auction around 8:45 p.m., DJ Clay Christy will strike up the band for dancing and celebrating to music.<br />
