Woman rescued from car after she drove into lake, dialed 911

MILTON, Ga. (AP) Authorities say rescuers were able to pull a motorist from a car after it plunged into a lake in Cherokee County. <br /> <br /> Cherokee County authorities say the woman drove into the lake off Fairway Road around 4:30 a.m. Monday. <br /> <br /> The woman, whose name was not released, was able to dial 911 from inside her car to alert rescue crews. <br /> <br /> The woman was taken to a hospital, where her condition was unknown early Monday morning. <br /> <br /> Few other details were immediately available. <br /> <br /> The area is near Batesville Road in southeastern Cherokee County. <br />
