Girls basketball: Buford routs S.C. team to advance to semis of Farm Bureau tourney

SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- The Buford girls advanced to the semifinals of the Farm Bureau tournament with a 60-29 victory over Wade Hampton out of Greenville, (S.C.) Saturday night.<br />

The Lady Wolves (8-2) next will play Southeast Raleigh, (N.C.) in the semifinals on Monday at 5 p.m.<br />
<br />
Against Wade Hampton, Corey Staples had 11 points and Jessica Nelson 10 to lead Buford.
