SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) - A former sheriff's lieutenant in coastal Georgia has pleaded guilty to federal child pornography charges. <br />

The Savannah Morning News reports 53-year-old Richard Adam Hall appeared for a change of plea hearing Monday and pleaded guilty to producing child pornography. Hall told a federal judge that he accepts full responsibility for what he did. <br />

Investigators have said Hall produced pornography involving a young boy at his Wilmington Island Home. The newspaper reports prosecutors dropped additional charges against Hall for transporting the victim to Florida and Tennessee. <br />

Investigators have said Hall knew the victim's mother from drug court and offered to take custody of the boy when she was sentenced to jail time. Hall was arrested in December 2013 and has been in custody since then. <br />
