CLEVELAND - A 30-year-old Cleveland man was injured Thursday night when he was struck by a vehicle on West Kytle Street in Cleveland. <br />

Cleveland Fire Chief Ricky Pruitt said when fire, police and medical crews arrived on scene around 10:30 p.m., they found a male patient on the side of the roadway. <br />

Cleveland Police Chief John Foster said the driver of a pickup truck, 21-year-old Jeb Stovall of Cleveland was traveling west on Kytle Street when the side mirror of his truck struck the pedestrian. <br />
<br />
Foster identified the victim as 30-year-old Joshua Klyce of Cleveland. He said Klyce was walking in the same direction of the traffic flow and was wearing dark color clothing when he was hit. <br />
<br />
Klyce was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center by White County Emergency Medical Service ambulance. <br />
<br />
Forster said the driver of the pickup truck stopped his vehicle after hitting the pedestrian and stayed with him until officials arrived on scene. <br />
<br />
The accident is still under investigation by Cleveland Police Department.
