GAINESVILLE - Gainesville Connection will offer extended hours of operation on four days during the final week before Christmas.<br />

City officials announced Tuesday that the fixed route public transit system will operate from 6:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. December 18, 19, 22 and 23. The buses normally operate from 6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.<br />

They also announced that the Gainesville Connection and its sister operation, the on-demand Dial-A-Ride program will no operate Dec. 24-26 and Jan. 1.
