JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. - Drew Echols of Jaemor Farms in Hall County has been named the winner of the Georgia Farm Bureau Young Farmer of the Year Achievement Award.
Echols was honored at a ceremony Sunday night at the GFB Annual Convention on Jekyll Island.
Echols is a fifth-generation farmer; he and his family own the 300-plus acre farm situated on Georgia 365 in northeast Hall County.
