GAINESVILLE - The annual Christmas on Green Street brought crowds of people to north Gainesville Sunday afternoon.<br />

The annual festival is held each year along the historic thoroughfare between the civic center and Academy Street - complete with carolers, carriage rides, a parade and more.<br />

The event kicked off shortly before 4:00 and was to continue until about 7:00.<br />
