Girls basketball: Big 4th quarter rally propels Branch over North Hall

FLOWERY BRANCH -- Flowery Branch used a 25-15 run to end the game and rally for a 56-52 win over North Hall Saturday in girls basketball action at home.<br />

The Lady Falcons (5-1, 2-0 Region 8-AAAAA) trailed 37-31 at the end of the third quarter after North Hall had grabbed the lead with a 14-3 run in the third quarter.<br />
<br />
The loss for the Lady Trojans (4-1) snapped their four-game win streak to open the season.<br />
<br />
the game was back-and-forth with North Hall leading 11-10 after the first quarter and Flowery Branch rallying to take a 28-23 lead at halftime.<br />
<br />
Julianne Sutton again paced the Lady Falcons with 17 points and 15 rebounds. Breanna Locke added 12 points and Lexie Sengkhammee nine points for Flowery Branch.<br />
<br />
North Hall was led by 19 points from Sydney Cleveland. Sadie Cleveland added 11 points and Kensi Gillespie had 10 points for the Lady Trojans.<br />
<br />
The Lady Falcons will jump back into Region 8-AAAAA action on Tuesday playing host to Salem (5-2, 2-0 Region 8-AAAAA) in a battle of unbeatens atop the region standings.<br />
<br />
North Hall next will play host to Woodward Academy on Tuesday.
