Girls basketball: Lady Falcons rout Heritage, stay unbeaten in 8-AAAAA

CONYERS -- Flowery Branch held Heritage, Conyers to just 17 points over the final three quarters to run away with a 68-31 victory Friday night in Region 8-AAAAA girls basketball action.<br />

The Lady Falcons (4-1, 2-0 Region 8-AAAAA) led just 15-14 after the first quarter but outscored the Lady Patriots 38-10 in the second and third quarters to blow the game open.<br />
<br />
Julianne Sutton paced Flowery Branch with 17 and five rebounds. Breanna Locke added 11 points and six rebounds and Lexie Sengkhammee had 10 points for the Lady Falcons.<br />
<br />
Flowery Branch next will play host to North Hall on Saturday in a non-region game.
