Boys basketball: White County rallies past Stephens

CLEVELAND -- White County exploded for 47 points in the second and third quarters to rally for a 76-60 win over Stephens County Tuesday in boys basketball action.<br />

White County (2-1) trailed 12-9 after the first quarter but led 56-41 after the third quarter.<br />
<br />
Whit Mauney led the Warriors with 20 points. Will Gearing poured in 18 and Brad Hurst had 17 for White County. Crawford Abernathy chipped in with nine points for the Warriors.<br />
<br />
Stephens County (0-2) was led by 17 points from Nunu Wocker.
