ATHENS -- Freshman Mackenzie Engram came off the bench to score 20 points and No. 19 Georgia shut down Coppin State 49-29 on Tuesday.<br />

Engram made 7 of 13 shots, including both of her 3-pointers and all four free throws. The rest of the team made just 6 of 37 shots (16 percent) and 1 of 10 3-pointers as the Bulldogs (8-0) shot just 26 percent.<br />

Engram had 11 points in the first half, one shy of her previous best, as the Bulldogs opened at 20-14 lead despite shooting 21.4 percent (6-28). Georgia forced 16 Coppin State turnovers and the Eagles missed their only free throw.<br />

Then the Bulldogs opened the second half with an 11-0 run, highlighted by five Engram points and turned that into a 17-2 surge with another Engram basket.<br />
<br />
Coppin State (1-5) ended up at 25.5 percent with 26 turnovers.<br />

Georgia was 20-31 from the foul line, the Eagles 3-6.
