FLOWERY BRANCH - There is no word yet on what sparked a fire that destroyed a Flowery Branch home late Sunday night.

Hall County Fire Battalion Chief Scott Cagle said in an email statement that the house, located in the 6500 block of Arbor Point, was fully involved in flames when crews arrived around 11:15 p.m.

Cagle said five people lived at the house, although only three were home when the blaze broke out. All escaped without injury.

Cagle estimated the size of the house at around 5,000 square feet with a value of $280,000.
Because of the intensity of the fire, hot spots remained in the debris Monday morning, so investigators had been unable to research a cause for the fire.
