Girls basketball: Parker, Seabolt lead Dawson County past Union

BLAIRSVILLE -- The Dawson County girls basketball team remained unbeaten in the early going after taking a 59-46 win over Union County Tuesday.<br /> <br /> The Lady Tigers (3-0) opened with a 16-13 run and then pushed their lead to 30-21 by halftime.<br /> <br /> Ashley Parker had her best game of the young season with a double-­double with 20 points and 16 rebounds. Karlie Bearden added 13 points, 11 in the second half, for the Lady Tigers. Haley Burgess chipped in eight points and Sheyenne Seabolt had a career-high 20 rebounds for Dawson County.
