Girls basketball: Lady Lions notch win in Demorest

DEMOREST -- The Lakeview Academy girls basketball team defeated Alcovy 42-35 on Monday in Demorest.<br />
<br />
The Lady Lions (2-0) led by just one point after the first and second quarters but made some breathing room after the third quarter at 30-23.<br />
<br />
Hannah Grogan scored 16 points to lead Lakeview, while Schyler Miller added 10.<br />
<br />
The Lady Lions will play again on Tuesday vs. winner of North Hall vs. Rabun County at Piedmont College in Demorest.
