Two men arrested with seven pounds of pot in Hall Co.

GAINESVILLE - Two Vietnamese men believed to be in the country illegally have been charged with marijuana possession and distribution following an arrest in the south Hall area last Friday.<br /> <br /> Hall County drug agents said Van Kim Nguyen, 35, and Nghia Dai Nguyen, 27, were arrested without incident at 4040 Amberleigh Trace just off Poplar Springs Road. When they were arrested, the two men had in their possession seven pounds of marijuana, scales and packaging materials and $10,000 in US currency, according to investigators.<br /> <br /> Authorities said the two remain in the Hall County Jail under an immigration hold.<br /> <br /> The Hall County Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad and Hall County Sheriff's Office deputies conducted the arrests.<br /> <br />
