RABBITTOWN -- Devin Watson tossed three touchdown passes and East Hall piled up 399 yards of total offense to take a 35-21 win over Banks County Friday night in a showdown for a playoff spot in Region 7-AAA.<br />

The Vikings (6-4, 4-2 Region 7-AAA) grabbed the No. 3 seed with the victory while the loss knocked the Leopards (5-5, 2-4) out of any playoff possibility. It's the first playoff appearance for the Vikings since 2003 and just the second since 2000.<br />

Watson connected with Jacquen Hopkins on all three TD passes and finished 13-of-18 for 195 yards. Watson added 144 yards and one score rushing. Jacques Ash added a touchdown run for the Vikings.<br />

Banks County got a touchdown run from Logan Hubbard and malcolm Mitchell returned a East Hall interception for a touchdown.<br />

The Vikings defense held Banks County to just 140 total yards, including just 14 yards passing.<br />

East Hall will travel to Region 8-AAA runner-up Hart County next week in the first round of the Class AAA playoffs.
