CLEVELAND - With Tuesday's mid-term elections still generating a lot of talk, one public official in White County is already announcing his plans for 2016.

Sheriff Neal Walden says he will seek re-election in two years.

"2016 is a good bit away, however, you and I know it's going to get on us quick and at this point and time I intend to be a candidate for re-election in the upcoming sheriff's race."

Walden has 34 years of law enforcement experience, with all of that in White County and the sheriff said he has had lots of people ask him about his intentions and wanted to go ahead and make it public.
