White County Sheriff Neal Walden has announced his intentions to run for re-election.

"2016 is a good bit away, however you and I know it's going to get on us quick, and at this point and time I intend to be a candidate for re-election in the upcoming sheriff's race," Walden said.
Walden has 34 years of law enforcement experience, with all of that in White County. The sheriff said he's already had a lot of people ask him about his intentions for the future.
