MOUNT AIRY -- Habersham Central snapped its 21-game losing streak with a 32-7 Region 6-AAAAAA win over North Forsyth Friday night at home.<br />

The Raiders (1-8, 1-7 Region 6-AAAAAA) last tasted victory just over two years ago when they beat Meadowcreek 31-12 back on Oct. 12, 2012 in Mt. Airy.<br />

Michael Babers led the way for Habersham with 104 yards rushing and three touchdowns. Quarterback Bennett Black was 5-of-6 for 144 yards passing with one touchdown, a 68-yard strike to mason Kinsey in the first quarter.<br />

Habersham Central piled up 365 total yards of offense while the Raiders defense held North Forsyth (1-8, 1-7) to just 161 total yards.<br />

Babers scored on a pair of 10-yard runs and added a 1-yard score. Marcus Wilbanks scored on a 41-yard run for the Raiders.<br />
<br />
North Forsyth's only score came in the third quarter.
